We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our growing team.


The successful candidate will play a lead role in all aspects of the company’s data platform.

This role will suit a proactive, experienced Software Developer looking to apply their skills and knowledge in a fast growing start-up environment with a flat organisational structure.



  • Build and maintain our data pipeline and manage related servers and databases powering the company’s data platform

  • Build monitoring and alerting tools to ensure data quality in an active trading environment

  • Write code interfacing with market systems, third party APIs, FTPs, web services etc.

  • Automation of CI/CD processes, common workflows, etc.

  • Development of microservices and related APIs

  • Suggest and implement best practices for system architecture and software development


  • Extensive experience in Python and familiar with clean design principles and software testing

  • Experience building, deploying and maintaining ETL production systems

  • Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and schema design

  • Familiar with Linux server administration

  • Experience with Git / GitHub for code collaboration

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment coupled with the ability to work effectively and independently on defined pieces of work

  • Fluent in English


  • Experience working with AWS 

  • Familiarity with Flask

  • Involvement with open source projects

  • Big data and distributed computing skills

  • Experience with remote work
