ABOUT THE JOB
We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in all aspects of the company’s data platform.
This role will suit a proactive, experienced Software Developer looking to apply their skills and knowledge in a fast growing start-up environment with a flat organisational structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and maintain our data pipeline and manage related servers and databases powering the company’s data platform

Build monitoring and alerting tools to ensure data quality in an active trading environment

Write code interfacing with market systems, third party APIs, FTPs, web services etc.

Automation of CI/CD processes, common workflows, etc.

Development of microservices and related APIs

Suggest and implement best practices for system architecture and software development
MUST HAVE
-
Extensive experience in Python and familiar with clean design principles and software testing

Experience building, deploying and maintaining ETL production systems
-
Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and schema design
-
Familiar with Linux server administration
-
Experience with Git / GitHub for code collaboration
-
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment coupled with the ability to work effectively and independently on defined pieces of work

Fluent in English

Familiarity with Flask
